It was from a need that a hobby had.
Nori had attended a "play day" at a friend's house (Stacy) and was hooked!!!
She then joined the Midwest Prairie Fires Guild and became friends with women who had a wealth of knowledge and were willing to share.
These ladies have been making their own beads for years, however, tooling had always been a stumbling block.
Nori mentioned at one of the meetings that her husband was a Tool & Die Maker and that maybe he could help.
Jerry showed them his willingness to listen and make the tools that they needed.
He has over 35 years of experience in the machining industry.
He now has a patent pending on the "Retro Bead Liner" and also on the "Bead Capping Tools" that he makes.
In addition, he also makes awesome bead picks! His specialty though is his ability to listen and then interpret the needs of Lamp Workers and having the ability to design and manufacture these tools.
He likes to be able to enhance their bead work with easier tooling that is especially designed just for them!
